Lovely Northwest. Beautiful People.

I am here visiting Larie and Halle in Portland. Everything is green and lush. The weather is a little overcast but pleasant and refreshing. The beauty that ample water supply brings is pleasant to my eyes and senses. However, my Oregon friends would like for us to share some sunlight with them especially during the winter/spring months! A good company brings me the most happiness, whether it be in the lush greenland of Oregon or the dry desertland in California. This was a great excuse to attend the critical care conference at the University of Washington and have most of my expenses paid for. :)

I can't remember the name of this beautiful waterfalls by the Columbia River Gorge. (Oh, I just looked it up... it's Multnomah Falls.) We hiked up to the top of this falls. Just gorgeous.

This cherry blossom is from Seattle. Although I stayed with Fuqin for a couple of nights, I didn't get to take any pictures with her. What was I thinking! This picture reminds me of what a beautiful person Fuqin is.
