Hydrogen Ion
Over last couple of weeks I've been spending some time thinking on hydrogen ions, preparing for a lecture on Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) interpretation for new grad nurses. Giving a lecture is not my favorite thing, but in the process, I do learn a lot. Here is something I learned on this important topic:
Two hydrogen atoms meet. One says “I’ve lost my electron.” The other says “Are you sure?” The first replies “Yes, I’m positive.”
